What We Handle

One local crew for the whole roof

Inspection to tear-off to the last downspout — the same Parkville crew, about 17 years running, no subcontracted mystery vans.

Every inspection is photographed shingle by shingle, and the report is yours to keep — whether or not you ever hire us.

Storm Repair & Tarping

Hail bruising, wind-lifted shingles, active leaks. We tarp first, assess honestly, and fix what actually needs fixing.

Newly installed architectural shingle roof field

Roof Replacement

Architectural shingles or a standing-seam metal upgrade — scoped and priced in writing before a single shingle comes off.

New seamless gutter corner detail on a residential roofline

Gutters & Downspouts

Seamless gutters and downspouts, usually hung alongside a replacement so the water ends up where it should.

Start Here — It's Free

An inspection that ends with proof, not pressure

Most roofs we inspect don't need replacing. The point of the free inspection is that you find out which kind you have — with photos, not a sales pitch.

  1. We walk the whole roof

Thirty to forty-five minutes on the roof — not five minutes in a truck at the curb. Every slope, valley, flashing line, and penetration gets looked at.

  2. We photograph everything

Every issue is photographed and captioned where we found it, on your roof. No mystery damage, no scare photos from somebody else's house.

  3. You get the report either way

Same or next business day: the photos, what's urgent, what can wait, and a written price if work makes sense. Take it, get other bids, no hard feelings.

The photo-report promise

  • Every photo we take on your roof is yours to keep.
  • A straight verdict: repair, patch, or replace — in plain words.
  • No charge and no obligation, even when the answer is “your roof is fine.”

When It's Urgent

Tarping and triage, in plain terms

A storm week is exactly when you'll hear the most promises. Here's what we'll actually commit to.

  • Emergency tarping first — stop the water, then talk about the roof.
  • Honest arrival windows. When hail hits the whole Northland at once, active leaks jump the line and we tell you where you actually are in it.
  • Damage documented while we're up there, so your records start on day one.
  • We're from here. We'll be here after hail week too.

Water coming in right now?

Skip the form. Call, tell us what you're seeing, and we'll give you a real window — same day when the storm was local to us, and an honest place in line when it wasn't. Move what you can out from under the drip and leave the roof to us; don't get on a wet ladder for a tarp.

When Repair Isn't Enough

Replacement without the runaround

Two honest ways to re-roof a Northland home. Your written quote prices the one that fits — or both, side by side, if you want to compare.

Architectural shingle

The workhorse. Dimensional asphalt shingles in your choice of color, solid against Missouri hail and heat, and the budget most homes land on. Full tear-off, new underlayment and flashing — not a layover hiding the old roof's problems.

Standing-seam metal

Costs more up front, outlasts shingles, and shrugs off the weather that sends the rest of the block up a ladder. Worth pricing side by side if you plan to stay in the house long enough to collect on the difference.

Financing, in plain English

Whether you're covering a deductible, the part a claim didn't cover, or the whole roof out of pocket: we offer monthly payment plans through a third-party lender. Fixed payments, terms in writing before you sign, and no prepayment penalty. A payment plan never changes what we recommend for the roof.

Documented, Not Dressed Up

Before and after, from the same report

The same evidence-card format your own inspection report uses — photos captioned where they were taken, so you can see exactly what changed.

Word Around the Northland

What neighbors say afterward

Three companies knocked on my door the week after the hail. Ridgeline was the one that showed me photos of my actual roof and said half of it didn't need replacing.

Book your free inspection

Tell us where the roof is and what's worrying you. We'll call to set a time, walk it, and get you the photo report — usually same or next business day.

Rather talk to a person?

(816) 555-0171

You'll get the office in Parkville, not a call center.

Have photos of the damage? Hang onto them — no need to attach anything here. We take our own during the inspection and add yours to the file when we talk.

Insurance, In Plain English

We help with the process. The decision is your insurer's.

Document

We photograph and caption the damage during the free inspection, so you have a clean, dated record of what the storm actually did to your roof.

File

It's your policy, so you file the claim. We hand you the photo report to send in, and we can be on the roof with your adjuster when they come out to look.

Decide

Your insurance company decides what's covered — approved, partial, or denied. Whatever the letter says, we'll translate it into plain English and price the work either way.

The fine print, minus the fine print: we're roofers, not adjusters or insurance agents. We can't promise what your policy will pay — and we'd be careful with anyone knocking on your door who does.

Asked On Every Driveway

Straight answers to fair questions

Is the inspection really free?

Yes — no charge and no obligation, even when the answer is 'your roof is fine, see you in a few years.' The photo report is yours to keep either way. Inspections are how we earn work; the free ones that turn into nothing are part of the deal.

How fast can you tarp an active leak?

If the storm was local to us, usually same day. If a big cell just went over the whole Northland, we triage: active water first, missing shingles second. We'll give you a real window on the phone instead of telling everyone they're first in line.

Will you handle my insurance claim for me?

We help with the process, not the verdict. We document the damage, share our photo report, and can meet your adjuster on the roof — but it's your policy, you file the claim, and your insurance company decides what's covered. Anyone who guarantees an approved claim before the adjuster has been on the roof is someone to be careful with.

What shingles do you install?

We quote by shingle class, not by logo: architectural (dimensional) asphalt shingles in your choice of color, or standing-seam metal if you want to price the upgrade. Your written quote spells out exactly what's going on the roof before you sign.

How long does a replacement take?

Most single-family homes are one to two days on the roof once materials are on site. Weather moves dates in this business — when it moves yours, you'll hear it from us first, not figure it out from an empty driveway.

Do you only do storm work?

No — about half our work is planned replacements for roofs that are simply aging out. If yours is at that stage, the same free inspection tells you whether you have two more years or two more storms in it.
